Hungary hosts the ITU Telecom World 2015 Conference

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) organizes every year the Telecom World Conference and for 2015 Hungary has been selected as host country. The event will take place in Budapest from 12 to 15 October.

ITU is a global forum of international cooperation and the most important global institution of the United Nations in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT). The organization, to be 150 years old this year, has 193 member states, with Hungary being one of its founding members.

The ITU Telecom World is a global platform that brings together the main ICT developers, ministers of ICT and any related sector, regulatory authorities, small and medium businesses, Industry CEOs and investors, emerging start-ups, and the local and international media to accelerate ICT innovations, sharing knowledge and making meaningful connections.
